Almost a year after the successful completion of the international showroom the Designco team was able to attend the official opening in Dunleer. Richard, Ian and Paul were responsible for the design, account management and project management of the international showroom and enjoyed meeting An Taoiseach at the launch last week.

On Friday 13th December the Glen Dimplex Research & Development Centre and International Showroom at Ardee Road, Dunleer, Co. Louth were officially opened by An Taoiseach, Enda Kenny TD. The opening was a resounding success and was attended by approximately 100 guests. The guests included representatives from Government Departments, Utility Suppliers, Irish Corporates, customers from the UK and Ireland as well as Local Representatives.

Two of the new Research & Development Centres are located in Dunleer and were completed in 2012 – 2013. These world class facilities build on a commitment to world-beating innovation that stretches back 40 years. Glen Dimplex has an unrivalled track record in developing breakthrough technologies in space and water heating. Within the new Research & Development Centre, more than 60 Engineers and Designers are developing new technologies and products that not only exceed our customers’ expectations today, but will anticipate and meet their needs well into the future.

Alongside the Research & Development Centre, Glen Dimplex also invested heavily in their international showroom, also located in Dunleer. The international showroom was transformed using the latest technologies in display and interior design by Designco Ltd.
