We have really enjoyed working on some of Santa’s festive grotto props this year. As a workshop we usually start to make our Christmas requests in September so by this stage of the year we are shipping everything off and  moving on to projects in 2015.

On our clients request, our scenic artist hand sculpted several large waterfalls and castle walls replicated to Santa’s standards. Based on a really clear brief we develop the ideas into hand sketches and then workout a lot of the exact details and finishing touches when sculpting.  These large props were accompanied by a post box for Santa’s letters, a detail not to be missed for the children and sturdy thrones were also supplied for Santa’s visit. All to be housed within beautiful grotto’s. We have also been producing present props and reindeer charity boxes for more clients, it has definitely been a busy few months in the prop department.
