Connswater Santa’s Grotto is now open!

The shopping centre in East Belfast is hosting Santa for Christmas 2019, and Connswater Santa’s Grotto is looking better than ever. In fact, the grotto has been nominated as one of the top 5 grottos in Belfast! Vote Connswater for the winner here.

 

 

Design, Build and Fit

The 4m x 4m cabin structure is made of fire treated timber and fibreglass roof complete with fake snow effect.

Surrounding the grotto is a picket fence, timber archway and gate. Everything was designed, built and manufactured by hand at Designco’s workshop in Belfast.

A flurry of Christmas elves, presents, lights and wreaths provides a welcoming entrance before the main event – meeting Santa. You’ll have to go to Connswater to see the magical interior of the cabin for yourself, but make sure to look out for the stone fireplace Designco built and painted!
