Commercial Interiors Project for Glen Dimplex NI

We are very proud to announce that we have just completed another successful commercial interiors project. In the Autumn of 2014 Glen Dimplex NI came to us with a requirements to refurbish their Northern Ireland showroom in Portadown. Our role was to design, project manage and deliver within budget and on time. We had to provide plans, visuals/renders and updated specifications throughout the process.

This is a permanent fit out of an existing showroom, but with a requirement to update products in the future as and when required. We designed free standing display areas to fit with the existing structures. These were then clad in high grade gloss in order to be brought up to date and compliment the rest of the design. We designed and built bespoke, brushed aluminium iPad holders to compliment product and provide information specific to each area. The content of the ipads can then be updated as the product evolves. Wall mounted displays with weathered feature walls, bespoke light boxes and printed blinds are all features. High gloss, staggered, step shelving was introduced to showcase individual products perfectly. We integrated touch screen technology into display walls using high gloss laminates. We brought the technology right up to date in the showroom with legato solutions. Information and content can be controlled by our client to educate visitors on the product information. Bespoke laminate plinths were built through-out and large fabric walls are a bold and colourful feature.

The updated showroom will act as a platform to launch new products. There will also be an opportunity to provide state of the art technology for visitors with the introduction of the in-touch technology. The showroom has been designed by Designco in such a way to adapt for future product lines and we hope to continue to be involved in its development.
