Last month North Down Borough Council appointed Designco as the contractor for their museum reception, design and fit-out. We were asked to design and construct a high quality reception and shop area within the North Down Museum in Bangor. These are the results.

We manufactured and built the reception desk, seating area, storage solutions and shop area to a layout provided by the client and consulted with staff on the materials and finishes required.

Designco updated the existing area in order to create a more inviting and coherent environment which serves as a multi-function facility for both visitors and staff.

Our brief was to retain the historical integrity of the architectural features of the building whilst modernising the overall environment. We enjoyed working with the team at North Down Museum on this job and we are all happy with the result.
